Scon (Servo Control) is a system that combines a powerful programming language called SconScript with a microcontroller to implement robotic functions. SconScript is an interpretive programming language that makes robotic servo control fast and easy allowing the robot builder to create more sophisticated robots. SconScript is similar in form and function to basic, one of the oldest, time tested programming languages. The added multi-servo move with synchronized speed control, helps make SconScript a great tool for the robot builder.

SconScript programs are written using a word processor such as notepad. Setup and download functions are done using PScon, a utility provided with Scon that runs on a Personal Computer (PC) with Windows XP. Once setup and programmed, Scon runs independently of your PC. Scon board products are available in several configurations depending on the required size and functions needed. Scon boards contain a microcontroller; flash memory for your Scon program; drivers for lights, relays etc; and inputs for connection to sensors and switches.
